InfoNet 2016 will include a series of at least four key events - each supported by an associated publication, website and video content - on topics reflecting special interest areas for executives at FIA member firms indlucing those in senior management, trading, broking, clearing, operations, technology, risk management and compliance.
The event formats are flexible - some taking place in the early evening with a panel discussion and debate, others running through the afternoon, with panels interpersed with TED talk style presentations. All events end with networking drinks and canapes.
The year-long programme will cover a range of industry topics from trading and technology, through clearing and operations, to product development and regulation.
The draft agenda is as follows:
- Trading firms and market makers are the drivers of liquidity in listed derivatives markets. This session will examine the trends that impact their ability to operate effectively as a vital part of the market eco systems, the opportunities and the challenges - including technology, product innovation and regulation.
