InfoNet - Trading and the search for liquidity

Trading firms and market makers are the drivers of liquidity in listed derivatives markets.  This session will examine the trends that impact their ability to operate effectively as a vital part of the market eco system, the opportunities and the challenge - including technology, product innovation and regulation.

The event will start with a presentation from Piebe Teeboom, Secretary General, FIA European Principal Traders Association, providing an overview of key regulatory developments impacting the trading of listed derivatives in Europe, including relevant aspects of MiFID II such as those pertaining to HFT and DEA. 

This will be followed by a panel of market practitioners including representatives of trading/execution firms, exchanges and vendors looking at issues impacting the trading of listed derivatives.
